Our Nottingham Venue is the New Mechanics Institue on North Sherwood Street in the city centre. (Just opposite the Central Police Station).
Victoria Bus Station is 5 minutes walk.
The nearest NET tram stops (Royal Centre and Nottingham Trent University) are also 5 minutes walk.
Car parking is available at the Victoria Centre, Trinity Square and Royal Centre car parks. There is no car parking at the Mechanics Institute itself and local streets are very restricted.
Visitors by car may prefer to use the Park & Ride facilities. For motorists coming via the M1, the Phoenix Park or The Forest Park & Ride sites are convenient. A short tram ride will take you to the Royal Centre and Nottingham Trent University stops.
The Chesterfield Library is part of the Pavements Shopping Centre, just off the Market Place.
The Library is directly opposite the Bus Station and about 10 minutes walk from the Chesterfield Train Station.
The Library has a café serving a variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks.
